They mocked her. It didn't matter what time of the day or evening it was. They were always there. But it wasn't always so. There was a time many years ago Leela could go where she wanted, do what she wanted, and not be followed by stubborn reminders of bygone days.

In the beginning, she ignored them, but they were persistent. She tried to hide them, but they refused to stay hidden. When she resigned herself to the fact that they would never go away, she tried to make excuses for them. But eventually the gray hairs dominated her life.

To avoid seeing them, maybe she should wear shades, but just the one pair would be enough. A great drabble, which, if I had any hair, I would identify with.

The idea struck me the other day when I found myself fussing about my own gray hair. Dr. Abbler, she tried to cover them up, but even through strong light they can still be seen. It's like they have minds of their own.

    Glad everyone liked it.
