Hauntless In Death

Kayla was fascinated with morbidity, death, and the afterlife--especially about ghosts, poltergeists, and hauntings.

Her sole ambition in life was to die and return to haunt people. She lived a miserable life and felt others deserved to do so too. When she died, she delighted in the knowledge that a spirit life did exist, but when given the chance to pass through to the next realm, she refused. So she was made to wait.

When her request to walk the earth as an apparition was granted, Kayla's elation was short-lived. The last person on earth was already dead.
