Bobby was a six foot seven Texan, with big hat, no ranch and a psychological problem. His shadow was the size of a beach umbrella - in fact many shorter people had taken shelter under the brim from the baking heat. Sharing the elevator with cowboy types at his work place in the Union Building in downtown Dallas was not practicable so he usually travelled alone.
Bobby’s personal ‘no go’ zone followed him around all day - he wondered why people found him so unapproachable, causing a deep identity complex though strangely never making the connection with his inseparable 10 gallon hat.
