After that encounter I’m sure we both felt better. Truth is a marvellously liberating thing.
Strange thing is I used to see him around the place with his troublesome mates patrolling the city centre and we would give each other a nod. No high fives but he had in effect become my protector - how weird is that? He was a good lad underneath and I knew it. One up for humanity! I’m pretty sure though that others only saw him as a threat. How wrong. The old saying ‘never judge a book by its cover’ has never been so true.

Terrific postscript to a story that restores one’s faith in natural justice. Really excellent series.

Not the blockbuster I had indicated I’m afraid.
Just a short and sweet true story about one Rag Day.

Well it did the track for me and even prompted another random drabble.
