The victim was an Albanian laboratory technician riven with a 4 foot fencing stake through his chest. Luktar had fled Kosovo when the Serbian army attacked his village. Up to then he’d lived peacefully grazing unmolested on cattle but in London, apart from the occasional stray dog, there was no livestock.
Nevertheless he deftly rose to the challenge.
With his particular experience he passed his interview with flying colours. Joining the hospital’s Phlebotomy Department he found a constant source of nutrition.
Unluckily for him the incoming Head of Department was a Serb who could spot a vampire a mile off.
