In the far off days of the Raj
Shere Khan rampaged at large.
From Rajasthan to Kashmir
The fearsome tiger showed no fear.
Antelopes and humans were fair game.
A mindless hooligan in all but name.
The other animals had had enough.
It was time to call his bluff.
Faced with a future of life in a cage,
He was persuaded to take to the stage.
In the jungle peace and goodwill is now the thing,
while Shere Khan headlines the Lion King.
The other animals are praying for an extended run,
as in his absence itβs been riotous fun.
