She disappears around the block
As you gaze at her back
Like the sunset
Burning shadows into your vision
You walk down this street
Quick enough to catch what's left
Slow enough to stay
There is a whiff of that telltale musk
Left in her path from you
To the asphalt's turn
Breathe it all in
Everything she's touched and left
Sink your teeth into black earth
And devour her legacy
Claw at your skin
Bite deep into flesh she marked hers
For she claims all
Puts pheromones in your breath
And scars of fragile love
You're nothing without her
