Trick Or Feast

Watching from the darkness of the room... I watched kids come in, looking for treats.

I never wanted to hurt... but I needed blood.

I didn't want children to turn into monsters. But I couldn't let them all live.

A girl approached the darkness, not seeing me.

"More candy over here!" Someone shouted. As she decided to go that way, I yanked her into darkness.

She tried screaming but I punctured her neck with my fangs, drinking.

She grew thin and pale.

She dropped to the ground. I sprang for the window.

"Trick or treat? More like trick... and feast."
