Is this all there is? Nothing more to life: endless round of housework, exercise, and job. Job, not career – never was able to get a career going, they were all jobs, undertaken for the money, not love – a kind of soul prostitution when you think about it.
It wouldn’t be so bad if they appreciated what I do: the man who swore before God to love me until I died and the children I incubated, nurtured and grew inside my own body. But they don’t and without that, it’s not enough.
Without love, nothing will ever be enough.

Well, this has been part of my own life as well.
Only from the opposite position.
Returning from a week abroad work, starting to regenerate the household, someone hadn't had the time to keep in a tolerable state ...
Greatly written, Liz!

I concur, without love nothing is enough. Yet strangely, with love nothing IS enough!
