Waiting for Inspiration

Time to write another drabble.

One a week or so, I said. But there’s been too much on: children’s activities, university assignments and, yes, even the odd social occasion, all conspire to erase hours, minute after minute sliding through my fingers like oil.

And so I set to work…

No real inspiration comes to me.

How about a stream of conscious piece? Just random thoughts and words flowing from the keyboard, my fingers playing the keys likes a piano. Yes, perhaps that will do, perhaps that will serve.

I think I’m done - until the next time I have to write.
