It is a known fact that almost all the stars we see at night are long gone.
And yet, they light up the skies even now— a million years later.
We see the proof that they existed, that they shone against the darkness.
History and man are the same.
Even now, centuries later, we recognize the brilliant minds who shaped history.
We might not notice how much difference we are making now.
But maybe, in a few years— decades, or even centuries!
...our brilliance would then be appreciated.
Maybe we are just a thousand nameless stars, yet to be discovered.

    My first actual drabble this year.
    I apologize for the lack of activity, I had to fulfill my responsibilities as a student.
