“ The second rule of Sleep Club is that you do not think about Sleep Club “, the 7 foot tall, blue curly-furred Teddy informed the specially selected, assembled audience. The rapid increase in member numbers was a sign of the club’s success but poor discipline would have unforeseen consequences. Impressionable toddlers and teens turned into tetchy, torpid terrorists, demanding their rights and dodging their responsibilities. As they ascended into manhood, the sleep deprivation and lack of moral guidance resulted in them becoming a huge, unmanageable force, entitled, self-serving and powerful. The outcome was bound to be chaos.
