You began hurting yourself when you felt life spiraling down. Your hidden journal had your deepest thoughts and secret wishes to be someone else-someone prettier, skinnier, smarter. They always said you would go far, but you never believed them. You wrote that you don’t fit in, but you were the homecoming queen. You wrote you weren’t skinny enough, but you were a size 0. You wrote you weren’t smart enough, but you were valedictorian of your class. It was only when we found your deepest thoughts and secret wishes, we knew your reasons. But they remain and you’re gone.

A sad - but all too truthful - tale. Effective use of viewpoint.
