Neither slender, nor slim adequately described the lady; tall, statuesque was more appropriate. Her age carefully disguised, she dominated any gathering. Her manner, in speech, as well as movement, was gentle; a slow drawl to a skater’s glide. When playing Trivial Pursuit, she would drive you to total distraction. She made you wait, not I believe strategically, but in her desire to prove an adequate opponent. Stylishly-clothed, she never showed too much, or too little, in fact ‘middle way’ would best describe her; except for her generosity. Without flamboyance, she proved time and again that she was a millionairess.
