Tattooed Knees

It was the knees that caught his eye. John didn’t realise they were real knees. He thought he was looking at patterned jeans but they were ripped with the tattoos poking through.

When he looked more closely he realised she was a goth. She was not a loud over the top look-at-me Goth. She was gentle and beautifully manicured but unconventional in a non threatening way but he was disturbed realising that he had a bad opinion about this subset of society.

John wondered why someone would love being a goth so much they’d have their knees tattooed?
