Opinions Bite Back

John was always full of opinions and theories. As he grew older he became more strident and righteous, especially about the problems of the NHS.

As a regular beneficial user he realised that some issues were too difficult to resolve but on the issue of missed appointments he was absolutely sure. People should pay or be struck off. There is no excuse.

He fumed when he saw the mounting numbers of missed appointments at his GP surgery. After he’d read similar stories in his newspaper his smart phone rang.

“Hello John. We were expecting you at the clinic this morning.”
