Scallywag

Billy was a rascal. From an early age he developed a technique which caused disruption without appearing to be the disruptor. He could pop in and out of commotion, sitting back to watch the furore unfold.

By the time he was ten he added the skill of petty thieving for his personal pleasure. He was not too greedy so his classmates weren’t sure items were missing as he would sometimes secretly return them.

When he was caught red handed his mother was called to the school. She was horrified and screamed at Billy: “I told you not to get caught.”
