Not Long To Go

Albert was a bright go getting young man who thought 30 was something to dread. All the fun was now. He wasn’t concerned what the future would bring.

Mortality struck when his father died suddenly at 58. Not long after, his mother passed away at 61. Average that out and Albert’s life expectancy was 60. Shorter than he realised.

Not to worry. His father believed in fate. When your number’s up; your number’s up. There’s plenty of living to do, but he did start to wonder what he would look like when he was old and what his number was.
