Spoilt Child

MaryJane would not eat the family meal unless it was cooked to her special tastes. For many years she was given baby foods before any attempt was made to wean her onto solids. To her parents’ despair she wouldn’t even try . The high chair was a battleground with MaryJane pulling off her bib and throwing it on the floor with a piercing yell.

When she went to stay at her aunt’s she changed. She warmed to the cheerful no nonsense approach. She loved the lamb burgers so much when they were called space burgers she didn’t notice the vegetables.
