FLIM FLAM

When I first saw it I couldn’t believe it. My friend said it was poppycock. My wife said - what codswallop.

I saw it again. In the same place. Staring at me.

My neighbour said - waffle.

I had a stakeout. I heard a rustle. It was definitely there. My friend didn’t believe me. My wife said I lived in the land of make believe.

The next night my neighbour joined me. We heard a rustle. We heard a grunt. It came out right before us staring at us, standing it’s ground, growling.

My neighbour ran off.
Left me there with it.
