Malt Whisky

I was a whisky anti-snob. I’ve knocked it back with the experts as they tutor me in the art of drinking. Water? No Water? Mixer? It’s worse than playing golf.

I watched the wine drinker nose and savour. I scoffed when I saw a real ale drinker not only nosing and savouring but taking notes as well. Just drink it, mate.

I pulled up sharp when I found a malt whisky I really liked but the price sashayed from £42 to £25 and back again.

I’ve found a cheap blended I’ve decanted into an expensive bottle. Such a snob.
