Companies won’t talk to me anymore. I can use their excellent online service, except it isn’t. Some are worse than others, but most are awful, blaming “these difficult times”.
When I call I’m given a choice of numbers to press. The last one is for a customer service provider but there are further aural obstacles before I’m told the wait maybe 45 minutes. I wait 45 minutes. They cut me off.
Some have started an online chat service. Last week Samantha asked: “Can you bare with me for a moment?”
So I stripped off and Face Timed her. That worked.

I liked your earlier work Brian. I had wondered why you'd gone a bit quiet, but then lots of Drablrs have recently, probably because of the tough situation right now. I love the above drabble as it took me totally by surprise (and of course I sympathise with the frustrations described earlier). I needed a Sunday morning laugh!😂 More please!
