“Keep the ball moving!” he screamed. My momentum was costing energy. His notes from the last team plays had not kept me efficiently in motion. Using up the cause of my frustration to “make do” took my head out of consideration. Philosophically, I reasoned reverse expenditures were necessary to counter-direct the time on the clock. The overhand toss aimed at the basket was a pushing motion that I could stop if I moved faster. “Go back, go back!” he yelled from the side of the court. Considering the terms I had agreed to, the problem was throwing the game.
