On A Personal Note

I went searching for the one who loved me today. I found one worshiping without me. It did not matter if I was there or not. Nope, not the one I was looking for. I found another one thanking me for many things, but he also sought to praise me with condescending words of approval. Obviously, not the one I was trying to find. I counted three down on their faces, struck with awe, but incapable of enjoying my company. Discouragement was setting in, until I ran across a delighted child, appreciating me and calling for more of my time.
