We all knew it was there. No one ever really spoke about it, as a matter of fact if any of us accidentally found ourselves in its vicinity, we’d move along quickly.
We’d never seen it move and often wondered what sound it made.
It looked quite ordinary except for the black paint which I suppose should have been a clue but actually it wasn’t unusual at all.
But there was something about it; perhaps its towering size and beautiful vines that promised blooms and fragrance but seemed to only offer painful and thorny warnings.
