“We’ll attend lectures. We’ll do our homework, even turn up for seminars. I want you here with me, not three hundred miles away.”
There was something in the way she said it that was logical, that took the myriad random, incomprehensible pieces of my confusion and fused them together like some sort of jigsaw. And in that precise moment, the outside world threw blazing sunshine into her bedroom, detonating clarity, exploding bright and without warning like the gift of serendipitous revelation.
“Yeah, great!” I enthused. “We’ll go back to lectures. Do our homework. Go to seminars. But… we’ll start tomorrow.”

I love the way this is written. Not only the emotion between the two principal characters but also the vivid descriptions.

    Thanks Christpher.
And talking of vivid descriptions, how is Jake getting along?

Not very far, as I've been writing, or not writing, the goth story. I should get on with one of them, though, and get it done.
