Hevne tried half-heartedly to push him away from her. It was partially successful, unlike her attempts to remain serious and suppress a laugh. She rubbed the top of her head.
"You're too tall, Triu," she said in mock complaint.
Jibrith snorted, but he, too, found it difficult to hide a smile "Long on stature, short on manners, I vow that is you, Triu," he muttered.
"That may be so, wise man, but with my sister's blessing I may learn manners" he said. Turning to his sister he added "or how to ignore him."
Hevne laughed. Jibrith suppressed a smile.

    A nice bit of joshing... but we must enjoy the levity while we can. I fear a grim, bumpy emotional ride on the doorstep...
