And if she was the moon and stars, well she aint here tonight. Thank God! Her old bones wouldn't stand up in this hellish storm.
I'll get to the house, see what's going on. Leastways get shelter.
Only yellow lamplight in the McGinley window to guide me. Still a ways away. Can't see much in this rain.
Cant hear much in this wind neither. Talking of hearing things, it's good I aint no cougar stalking its prey. I squelch real loud every step I take, it's enough to warn any prey. Or waken the dead.
Hope that won't be necessary.

Numerically this is heading into novella territory. Very worthy of publishing. Fabulously atmospheric and totally gripping. What more d’ya need? Have you a publisher? Or considered Createspace?

I haven't really thought of publishing yet, but I reckon if I read it through and like it when it's all done I'll give publishing it a go. I'll have to check out Createspace, Neville, I've heard the name but not really looked at it in any depth. Definitely worth thinking about though, thank you.

Our writers group is using Createspace to publish our second annual of short stories (or parts of stories - who wants part of a story... I want the whole feckin’ ting!... but it’s very democratic😕). One of the guys circulated a piece on how to publish on Createspace. I could upload it somewhere maybe if you’re interested?

Haha democracy is great until we don't agree isn't it! Yes, please, that would be great Neville, thank you.
