Harry's eyes glinted. A smile played on his lips and Tisha smiled in return, particularly when she attempted to move but he wouldn't release her hands.
"What are you thinking, Harry Danes?" Daniel asked.
Harry giggled, then abruptly stopped himself.
"I've no idea what's going on," he said, pointing at the alien, "But I believe this. They know of our concept of death, of course, but they don't really understand it. To them, all energy exists. They exist as energy. Energy exists. That is the be-all and end-all to them, because energy can neither be created nor destroyed."

As a 'new boy' the concept of publishing as you go is fascinating. Charles Dickens had the same idea I believe but without the technology of course.
Only problem for me I've come in well into the story and in limbo somewhere between the beginning and the end. Keep going though as I will try to get the gist as it's intriguing.

Thanks for sticking with it Steve. I try hard not to think about where this is going until I'm actually at the keyboard, which probably means this story has meandered a lot, but it's pretty much fun letting the characters and the settings decide where the story goes.
Thanks for your comments and support, they're appreciated, and I hope you enjoy the story, whatever happens :)
