In this place without fear, I understood! I understood The Greatest Truth!
We're all fearing our pain.
Usually with pain we aren't afraid because it's pain, not fear, which hurts. Afterwards comes the fear, when we recall the memory of our pain. It is the memory of pain we fear.
And to fear a memory is to fear that which no longer exists.
We fear fear itself.
And fear feeds on itself and grows ever stronger, perpetuating hate and pain and providing nourishment for demons. So calm your fear, said a voice in my head. Calm your fear, sweet child.
