A wall disappeared, affording us entry, then soundlessly reformed behind us. We bowed our heads, formal in the presence of Sages. No external indication of thought-transfer, but our minds filled.

Distance requires the utilisation of time to traverse it. But in their universe, time is not dependent on cause and effect or entropy, time itself becomes a meaningless concept. There, no action has a consequence. Minds develop differently, concepts of cause-and-effect redundant. Logic irrelevent.

They exist. That is the sum of our knowledge. Everything else is for you to discover.

A wall disappeared, and soundlessly we left.

Goodness me, this intrigues me deeply! I'd love to know more about the narrator and the sages. :-)

I've been wondering if I can develop this into a series Horrorshow. In that case, I will give it a little thought... :) Thanks for the great comment
