Her corpse fell onto him, knocking him backwards down the stairs and killing him.
--And...?
He’d removed the bricks and wood panelling and she had toppled out.
--I see.
His sanity had gone by then. His memory, too. Remember, he had entombed her forty years ago. Obviously he had forgotten she was there.
--Obviously.
He had torn down one of the walls with bare hands! Anger possessed him again.
--He was violent?
He was irrational. Capable of violence on a whim.
--That’s psychotic!
She’d had an affair, he’d sealed her up inside the wall.
--He murdered her!
He loved her.

    By way of a bit of an experiment, I've tried writing a conversation that can be read forwards and backwards, bottom to top.
    I'm not sure if this really works, certainly doesn't work as well as I'd like, but it's ok.for a first go I guess.
    Oh yeah, and grovelling apologies to Edgar Allen...

    This is very good! I've thought of doing something like this before with a longer piece of work, but always wondered if it could work at all. If nothing else, you've certainly made it work very well, forwards and backwards.
