Drab hues and common landscapes pass by at a plodding pace.
Hints of blue and green slowly surface; nudging those pedestrian tones to the side; then into the background.
Violet blossoms burst into view as momentum builds, and the scenery changes from plateaus and mesas to lumbering hills.
The hills soon pitch downward at an unnaturally threatening angle, and there is a glimmer of yellow, the noontime sun, just before gravity demonstrates its authority.
Speed asserts itself with that iron will only it can manage, and hills become flashing, jagged mountain peaks, splashed in the bloody crimson of total release.

Excellent analogy to connect building emotion with landscape!
