With care and determination, I build my sand castle; ever vigilant of the incoming tide.
A deep moat will stem the flood, but not enough.
The roar of the waves fill me with terror, as my outer defenses are breached, and a wall collapses.
Hurriedly, I attempt to rebuild it, but it dissolves as the next wave crashes in.
The futility of my endeavor grips me as my creation is worn into a shapeless mound; my castle is gone.
Accepting the situation, I wait; eventually, the tide will go back out and when it does, I will rebuild my castle.

Yes. 'Could easily be about writing. The next hundred words waiting to be
    formed into yet another castle!
