Forever Unseen

He sits before his laptop, typing away. Pouring forth his thoughts and ideas for all to peruse and enjoy.
Anxiously, he opens his email to check for new followers; there are none.
He heads to his author's page to answer any questions about his books; there are none.
"How can I reach them?" he wonders aloud. "Why am I invisible?"
He decides to try something different; he creates the fake profile of a beautiful, aspiring model, and posts a single status of "Hi! I'm Ginger."
When he awakes the next morning, he checks his experiment; 650 followers.
"Figures," he mutters.
