The Incomparable Captain Bobbie Brown

8 October 1944... I'll never forget the incredible valor I witnessed from our Captain, Bobbie Brown, at the Battle of Crucifix Hill.
He was a former boxer you know, and boy, did it show! This fella, he ran straight at those Germans! Bullets flying past him, he cleared three pillboxes all on his own!
He took shrapnel from a mortar, and what did he do, then? He kept goin' at 'em!
'Course ya can't go runnin' at angry Germans for too long without feelin' the heat, but he wouldn't quit!
Got the Medal of Honor for it, and deservedly so!
