Dinner Out

I like this restaurant. It’s my favorite, and whenever Mom and Dad say, “Where should we have dinner?” I always vote for Banjo's. But I wonder why we bother?
I went to my friend Eddy’s once and dinner was fun. Everyone was laughing and talking at once and Eddy’s little sister Julie spilled her milk and didn’t get in trouble. I wish I had someone else to talk to.
“Mom, can I order dessert?”
“Just a minute. I’m almost done.”
That’s what she always says when she’s on her phone. Dad’s on his, too. I wish I was at Eddy’s.
