To Love

To be loved is a feeling that most strive for.
Once they have found it, what is left to strive for?
That is why she does not love.
She knows that once she loves, her drive will be gone.
She will have nothing to strive for.
So, when approaches her and flirts with her, she pretends to laugh and flirt back. They talk all night, and she invites him to her home afterwards.
He wants her to love.
She cannot afford for him to remain alive, so she watches as he splutters and chokes on poison slipped into his cup.
