It was exactly one hundred years since the very first Lethal Chamber had opened in New York City’s Washington Square Park, all the way back in 1920.
Over the decades close to twenty million citizens had taken advantage of the tens of thousands of Chambers scattered across the Imperial Dynasty of America, and legally ended their lives.
In fact, suicide had become the third most common cause of death in the nation behind heart disease and malignant tumors, beating out the likes of cerebrovascular disease and chronic lower respiratory illness, to find a well deserved place on the mortality podium.

Thank you so much for your continued support and encouragement, Drew. I'm about to settle down and read through your drabbles from the last week. Expect some feedback soon. :-)

I'm sure that certain organisations or individuals could profit from the removal of said cadavers. Humanly of course.

... into the Soylent Green they go!
Awesome, awesome drabble Mr. Horrowshow, the more i read it, the better it gets. Hugely admire the style of this, like a textbook or a guidebook, which adds a authenticity that is truely chilling

Is this a real thing? Authorized chambers for suicide?

Not as described in the drabble but isn't there a place in Switzerland where you can go to legally take your life?
