Not at all. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger; the trick is to keep everything in balance and hopefully not skip like a broken record.

I can't help but picture a movie where the main character comes for revenge because the villain has "impugned on his honor." I don't know if that is what you were going for, but nonetheless this is a great drabble.
