“When? You said that two weeks ago.”
“Then wait two weeks and a day. Ain’t gonna make no difference.”
“Damn you man. You said you’d fix everything, and you ain’t done anythin’.”
“Nag, nag. That’s all you do. Get out of my way.”
She stepped back from his truck, clouds of dust still floating from his tire tracks.
He walked towards the shed. She followed.
He shot her husband twice.
“When I said I’ll get it done, it means I’ll get it done.”
The hired killer took his money and left.
