Although Marmaduke sped away happily in his rural abode, he left behind a nagging doubt that this was not the end of the story.
So a similar plan was put into place again.
Despite the fact that Marmaduke had given no clue that he had a friend and we did not suspect otherwise, however in the small hours of the morning, Millicent Mouse came seeking her mate, partner or whatever and she had fallen into the same trap as Marmaduke.
Happily she has now been relocated to the same grassy bank and went in great haste to find her lover.
