And then came the Klingons

Some say the war was terrible. Others say we faced a disunited, desperate force. We fought, wavered, lost. We changed our exploration vessels into warships. We won.

Some say the next war was worse. Those who disagree know nothing of recent history. Others say facing weak enemies is dishonourable, so the Klingons sent their extremely distant cousins. They had no honour. In dying, they would prepare the Federation for battle. Still others say the Klingons couldn't bear the dishonour of being mistaken for others. Especially for those.

We know not the reasons, but the true Klingons fought hard and honourably.
