"Well, I just went out and got lost," the nervous man babbled. "Normally my AI goes along, but today it just wouldn't budge."

"You were found in an area deemed too dangerous to flesh," the officer sounded almost patronizing.

"I told you," the man retorted. "I got lost!"

"Yes," the officer rolled up its diodes. "Wait here, please."
