I Heard This Once

I heard this once. It was a long time ago now. I heard that cats can read. No, it's not a joke. They CAN read. They do it with their backsides. Really.

Ever seen a cat sitting on a newspaper, face immobile, lost in thought? Well, they're not daydreaming about blackbirds and nextdoor's gerbil. They're reading. They have very sensitive arses, apparently.

So next time you see one squatting on the Radio Times, be sure to hide the remote. And if you have illicit love letters lying around, get them put away smartish.

You can't trust them not to blab.
