The Riddle...

I am the River's daughter,
Born from the Willow and the Lily,
I am the Wind's daughter
Born on the highest peak so chilly.

I am the Fire's daughter
Born in the heart of a volcano,
I am the Earth's daughter
Born from the colours of a rainbow.

I am life itself, I am the past,
I am the future, I am harmony,
Revered or abused, I am the last
But I am also the first, I am eternity.

I am war, I am peace, I am Yin and I am
Yang, tell me, can you guess who I am?

And there was I ready to solve the riddle!... (but I wouldn’t have found the answer!). That aside, this is a wonderful poem! I love the rhymes and the repetitive ‘I am the’, which gives it particular power. I love ‘revered or abused’ which is very accurate and thought-provoking. And I love the whole concept of it. You should be really proud of writing this, Frenchie! Outstanding!
