Nanna has worn the purple cardigan everyday for fifty years, reminder of a magical night with a young minstrel, 1970, Isle of Wight.
They snuggled under it, keeping warm.
Alas, the moving crowd separated them by morning. She only knew his name.
She told her grand-children the story many times, as to keep the memory alive.
Today, on her 72's birthday, they have a special surprise.
As door opens, she turns around and gasps in wonder.
In the doorway, an elderly gentleman stands, now famous musician, clutching awkwardly the chiffon scarf she gave him. He'd never forgotten her either.

Aaaw! Lovely Frenchie!... (I wonder what the grand-kids thought she’d been up to though back then🤔). And you know that they say, 72 is the new 52, so maybe they’d better watch out...

Nice! I'm just wondering which famous musician it was. I've got my money on a member of the Moody Blues.

But then again, they played there that year so she probably would've known who he was. Sorry, I'm putting way too much thought into it.

Sorry, Frenchie. I would've sworn I voted for this when I commented on it. I've put it to rights now.
