'I hate you. I'll hate you, like, forever.'
She started crying.
-'Listen, I'm sorry but I promised Dad I'd never say who I am.'
She looked at me. For the first time, I really saw her hatred.
-'What about Tony? is he your accomplice?' my voice was barely more than a whisper.
She laughed.
-'Tony is a fool. He saw your pic and it was love at first sight. Pay up, bitch or he'll rot where we've put him.'
-'Who, 'we'?'
She surreptitiously moved towards the working top where the kitchen knives were.
I made a dash for my room.

Well... at least Tony loves you! Pay up bitch? Wow, that seems a little unfriendly! So why would you pay up for Tony... but I suppose he does love you! But of course you always carry a few hundred quid in your purse, don’t you?
And with those kitchen knives knocking around, who else is getting their cut?...😰

Exactly, what should I pay for Tony? but wait, I know this doesn't make sense yet but it will....

As for the kitchen knives, they are a classic, always around in bad horror movies... this is why in my house (the real one, not the drabble one :-) , no knives on display. I keep them in a cupboard. Seriously, I am scared of knives 😂

Me too! I always have to put them away before I turn in at night.
I’m enjoying the way the story is going and the banter in the comments too!

...and you’re really on a roll with this, Frenchie. Love the way that it seems to be ‘growing like Topsy’! It must be great fun finding new angles for it ‘on the fly’... or in your dreams!

Totally against the 'plan your stories'.. I did have a plan for 4 drabbles, lol..

Agreed! I never plan my stories. It’s so great creating as you go and swerving when you fancy!
