Suckers!

The Post Office. Pension day.
Pete and Ollie, our local harebrained petty thieves eyed the old lady hunched over her ancient Zimmer frame
She was a dream pick.
Pete walked over nonchalantly asking for directions. Ollie grabbed her handbag. The old lady hands flew rapidly away from her walker but it was too late.
Moments later, Ollie and Pete opened the handbag to find...nothing.
They looked at each other perplexed.
'My wallet!' In panic, Pete searched his pockets.
'Mine too!'
They ran back to the Post Office to find an abandoned walker, a note pinned to it:
'So long, Suckers!'
