Everything was arranged to perfection. The white table cloth, the china dishes and crystal glasses, red candles giving a soft, romantic glow to the room, all was well, she thought, as she slipped into her evening dress.
The butterflies in her stomach wouldn't stop fluttering. Her Valentine date was simply gorgeous.
She ran to the door as the bell rung. She flung it open and found her mum standing there with a bottle of bubbly.
-Mum, what are you doing here?, she asked.
